This blog has various purposes:
1) To be completed as an assignment
2) To update my family on what my plans for India are
3) To keep myself constantly preparing for my research in India.
I have always been fascinated with India. Everything that I do in my day-to-day life in America could potentially be done in a completely different way in India. America is a country with many different cultures and people. Likewise, India is as well. That is intriguing to me.
As a young teenager, I was always great at asking questions. By the end of a conversation I always knew everything about the other person, but they knew very little about me. This curiosity about learning more by questioning continues in college. But now, I have the opportunity to travel! Instead of hearing second hand about other countries, I can experience them.
India will teach me so much about how similarly or differently people live. My major focus will be dental related. You can refer to my Dental Research page for more information about what i will be focusing on.
